Climb the highest peak of Cambodia: the Aural Mountain (1813m). Discover an iconic part of the Cambodian backcountry, in full or semi-autonomy, summit one the highest trail of the country, from forest to jungle for a total of 32km (elevation: +1650m, -1450m).

DAY 1

2AM: departure from TTP area, Phnom Penh (van/minivan)

5AM: arrival in Aural village, light breakfast, equipment checking

5.30AM: ascent warm-up with 10km to the mountain foot

7.30AM: arrival at mountain foot, Aural mountain ascent start

11.30AM: arrival at camp 1 (1100m), C4 camp installation, light lunch break

12.30PM : departure to Aural mountain final ascent, trekking up to the top

3PM: Aural mountain peak, 1813m

3.30PM: departure to summit

5PM: arrival at summit

6.30PM: dinner, camp fire, night in the jungle at camp 1

DAY 2

7AM: breakfast, camp uninstallation

8AM: trekking back to extraction point

10.30AM: arrival at extraction point, 10km by local transportation to Aural village

11.30AM: arrival at Aural village, lunch, shower

2PM: departure to Phnom Penh (van/minivan)

6PM: arrival in Phnom Penh

a small personnal bag can be left in the C4 vehicule during your adventure

• 2 dry bags (15 to 20L)
• 1 rain coat
• 1 trekking shoes or sport shoes
• 1 metal flask
• 1 meal kit (plate, mug, cutlery set)
• 1 pair of trekking pants
• 1 long sleeve tee-shirt

• 1 mosquito repellant

• 1 bivouac set (tarp, hammock, sleeping bag - tent no recommended)

• 1 extra trousers & shirt (to wear at the camps)

• 1 flash light with extra battery
