Climb the Aural Mountain (1813m), the highest peak of Cambodia. Discover an unknown part of the Cambodian backcountry. You will learn how to get through a high canopy, to evolve out of your comfort zone, to reach the top, whatever happens.

Official schedule**

Day 1 (Wednesday)

5AM: departure from C4 office, TTP area, Phnom Penh.

9AM: arrival in Aural district

9.30AM: light breakfast, equipment checking.

10AM: ascent warm-up with 10km to the mountain foot.

12PM: lunch

1PM: arrival at mountain foot, departure to base camp.

1.30PM: arrival at base camp, bivouac instructions, camp installation.

5PM: dinner preparation.

6PM: dinner.

Day 2 (Thursday)

7AM: breakfast

8AM: camp uninstallation.

9AM: Aural mountain ascent start, trekking up to camp #1

12PM: lunch break.

2PM : arrival at base camp #1

2.15PM: Aural mountain final ascent, trekking up to the top (main equipment stays at base camp #1).

4PM : Aural mountain peak, 1813m

4.15PM : trekking back to base camp #1

5.15PM : arrival at base camp #1, camp and dinner preparations.

6PM : dinner.

Day 03 (Friday)

7AM: light breakfast

8AM:. camp uninstallation

8.30AM: trekking down mountain foot. to extraction point

11AM: 10km by local transportation to extraction point.

2PM: arrival to the main vehicle, light lunch, departure to Phnom Penh.

5.30PM: arrival in Phnom Penh

Recommended gear list

  • camping set (tarp, hammock, sleeping bag),
  • 1 backpack (40L maximum),
  • 1 dry bags (15 to 20L),
  • 1 metal gourd,
  • 1 pair of high trekking shoes or sports shoes,
  • 1 pants,
  • 1 tee-shirt,
  • 1 light jacket long sleeve,
  • 1 rain coat,
  • 1 pair of socks,
  • 3L of water,
  • 1 extra trousers and shirt,
  • 1 flash light,
  • 1 knife,
  • 1 mosquito repellant,
  • 1 toiletry set (small towel, soap …),
  • snacks.

*F&B : 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners.
